Mastro 5 Design is registered to work with vulnerable people in both states ACT and NSW. Not only is the company registered but all our staff and trades people are checked and certified to work with vulnerable people and children. We are certified to work on building and construction projects for elderly people and children such as age care centres and early learning centres.

We have recently completed a project at Ngunnawal for the Little Penguins Early Learning Centre.

What is the WWVP Act?

The Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 (the WWVP Act) commenced on 8 November 2012. It aims to reduce the risk of harm or neglect to vulnerable people in the ACT.

The WWVP Act requires those who work or volunteer with vulnerable people to have a background check and be registered.

Anyone who works face-to-face with children in a paid, self-employed or voluntary capacity, must have a Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
